Toro Citrosolv has enabled us to clean ship and barge tanks,
bilges and voids that have carried lube oils, gasoline,
and diesel fuels, and achieve certificates for hot work
with a single application followed by a cold water rinse.
The need for expensive and time consuming tank steaming
and exposure to harsh chemicals has been reduced to near
zero.
Citrosolv does not adversely affect the operation of our
waste water treatment plant as many cleaners do.
Citrosqueeze is used on a daily basis by our tug fleet operators
for effective engine room and machinery cleaning. All of
this bilge water comes ashore to our water treatment plant
as well and is easily decontaminated for disposal.
I continue to test samples of new cleaners as they appear
on the market and still choose to purchase your product
based on worker safety, effectiveness and cost comparisons
as I have for nearly a decade.
